Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information Graves County Busted Mugshots may receive when a visitor reads the guide, uses a search widget, or sends a message. The site is a private reference guide, not the Graves County Jail, Sheriff’s Department, Mayfield Police, Wingo Police, court, or Kentucky DOC.

Information entered into a search tool

The search widget on this site sends the entered search request to the third-party provider that operates the result service. This site does not store or maintain a Graves County jail roster, booking database, or mugshot archive. Use the official Graves Jail inmate page for a county custody search, the Sheriff records page for a sheriff-held record, and KOOL for a state DOC record.

If you email or otherwise message the site owner, the message and contact details may be retained long enough to respond, troubleshoot a broken link, or document a correction. Those messages are not sold. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law, needed to protect the site, or necessary for a service provider acting on the owner’s instructions.

Technical information

Like most websites, a host or analytics service may receive routine technical details when a page loads, such as:

  • IP address or a shortened network identifier
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Referring page, if supplied
  • Date and time of the request

These details may be used to keep pages available, understand aggregate visits, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors. They are not used to create a Graves County arrest record or to decide whether a person is in custody.

Cookies and linked services

The site or its service providers may use cookies or similar storage for basic preferences, traffic measurement, security, or the behavior of a search tool. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, although some features may behave differently. An external jail, court, DOC, news, or aggregator page has its own privacy practices. Review that provider’s policy before entering information.

Information may pass to the search partner that processes a query, hosting and security vendors, analytics providers, and advertising networks used to operate or support the site. It may also be disclosed to law enforcement or another authority when a valid legal order requires it. These recipients use information under their own terms or service duties.

This site links to the Graves Jail records route, Graves court page, and other public offices. Following an external link takes the visitor outside this policy.

Retention, security, and choices

Technical logs and messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, dispute handling, or security. No method of transmission or storage is guaranteed to be completely secure. Do not send a Social Security number, medical record, complete identity document, or unrequested legal file to this site.

Visitors may disable cookies, decline to use the search widget, or contact the site owner about a message they submitted. A request to delete a message may be limited by legal, security, or recordkeeping needs. A request about an official booking photo must go to the jail, sheriff, city police, or court that holds the source record.

Children and policy changes

This guide is not directed to children. Do not submit juvenile information. Kentucky juvenile records can be confidential under KRS Chapter 610. The policy may be updated when the site, host, analytics, or legal requirements change. The current version is the version published on this page.
